Wyse Winterm thin client

Wyse Technology Inc. was an IT company founded in 1981 with headquarters in San José , California ( USA ) and numerous branches worldwide, specializing in thin client solutions. The company was taken over by Dell in May 2012 , and products have only been available under the Dell Wyse name since then .

According to a study by the IDC , Wyse was market leader for the third time in a row in 1999 with 37.5%. According to its own information, the company held a 35% share of the market for thin client solutions (as of 2007).

From February 2007 to May 2013, Tarkan Maner served as the company's CEO .

Products

The company produced both thin client hardware (such as the thin clients from the Winterm series) and software solutions (such as Wyse ThinOS ). Wyse also offered services, support and training on the products.
