Wytske Versteeg
Wytske Versteeg (born May 2, 1983 ) is a Dutch writer .
Life
Wytske Versteeg completed her political science degree in 2005. In 2008 she published the essay Dit is geen dakloze . Her debut novel De Wezenlozen was published in 2012, won the VrouwDebuutprijs and was on the longlist for the AKO Literatuurprijs . Her essays and reviews have appeared in NRC Handelsblad , Vrij Nederland , Opzij , De Revisor , Hollands Maandblad and Tirade , among others . In 2013 she received the BNG Nieuwe Literatuurprijs for Boy ; the novel was also on the longlist of the Libris Literatuur Prijs and has been translated several times. She was awarded the Frans Kellendonk Prize 2020 for her novels and essayistic work .
Versteeg lives in Delft .
