Frans Kellendonk Prize
The Frans Kellendonk Prize (from the left: Frans Kellendonk-prijs ) is a Dutch literature prize that was set up in 1993 on the initiative of the Frans Kellendonk Foundation to commemorate the writer Frans Kellendonk (1951–1990).
The prize is awarded for a literary work or the entire work of an author that testifies to an independent and original view of a social or essential problem. A connection with other literary forms of expression, such as narration , lecture or journalism , is possible.
The prize is awarded every three years by the Maatschappij der Nederlandse Letterkunde (MdNL) and awarded in Nijmegen . The prize money is 5000 euros.
