XSM-73 Goose
The Fairchild XSM-73 Goose (originally Bull Goose ) was the prototype of an unmanned US missile that was built to fool enemy radar . It should have the radar signature of a heavy bomber such as B. the Convair B-36 , the B-47 Stratojet , or the B-52 Stratofortress . The first model made its maiden flight in 1957, but the program was discontinued the following year. Until 1955, the USAF listed the project as B-73 in the series of its bomber designations (see factsheet).
