Xavier Moreno
Xavier Moreno ( Édison Xavier Moreno Cruz; born November 15, 1979 in Quito ) is an Ecuadorian walker .
At the 2001 South American Athletics Championships in Manaus, he won bronze in the 20,000 m walking.
In 2004 he was at the Olympic Games in Athens in the 20 km walk disqualified.
In 2006 he won silver over 20,000 m at the South American Championships in Tunja , in 2007 he won the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro in the 50 km walk with the South America record of 3:52:07 h.
At the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, he came in 36th place over 50 km. Also over 50 km he finished 46th at the 2012 Olympic Games in London and 44th at the 2013 World Athletics Championships in Moscow.
