The Xian MA700 ( cn:新舟700 ) is a twin-engine turboprop - airliner of the Chinese manufacturer Xi'an Aircraft Industrial Corporation for up to 85 passengers, which is currently in development.
history
The development is carried out with the support of Antonov .
In January 2020 it was reported that a rollout is now expected for mid-2020; the first flight is now to take place at the end of 2020, after a first flight was previously planned for the end of 2019.
construction
In contrast to the slightly smaller Xi'an MA60 , the horizontal stabilizer is to be designed as a T-stabilizer as in the ATR series and the landing gear is to be retracted in bulges on the fuselage, but the same cockpit and the slightly longer fuselage construction of the Xi'an MA60 should be adopted become.
Users
As of August 2015, there were 185 orders with the Chinese Joy Air, which is expected to be the aircraft's first customer, and another ten airlines and leasing companies that have currently placed an order. Joy Air is slated to receive its first aircraft in 2021.

The parameters correspond to the standard model, but there should be a smaller version for 50 seats and a larger version for 90 seats.
