Joy Air ( Chinese 幸福 航空 ) is a Chinese regional airline based in Xi'an and based at Xi'an-Xianyang Airport .
history
Joy Air was established in March 2008 as a joint venture between China Eastern and China's aerospace company AVIC I founded. AVIC I holds the majority stake of 60%, China Eastern the remaining 40%. The joint venture aims to promote the sale and marketing of aircraft made in China . Flight operations began on June 1, 2009 with three Xi'an MA60s .

Furthermore, Joy Air is to become the first customer of the new Xi'an MA700 .
Incidents
- On May 10, 2015 crashed Xian MA60 ( air vehicle registration number B-3476 ) traveling from Yiwu to Fuzhou on landing in Fuzhou. The Xi'an MA60 rolled over the runway on landing, twisting the wing and engines forward and hitting the ground. Three people were injured in the incident and the aircraft had to be written off.
