Xing kiln

The Xing kiln ( Chinese  邢窯  /  邢窑 , Pinyin Xíng yáo , English Xing Kiln ) was a ceramic kiln famous in the time of the Tang Dynasty , which produced from the Sui period to the period of the Five Dynasties . He is known for his white porcelain , which has been referred to as "white as silver and snow". The products of this kiln were on the tribute list of the imperial court.

The archaeological site of the Xing Kiln is located in Neiqiu County - ancient Xingzhou - the prefecture -level city of Xingtai in the south of the Chinese province of Hebei . It was discovered in 1980 and scientifically researched.

The site of the Xing kiln or the Xing kiln site ( 邢窑 遗址 , Xíng yáo yízhǐ , English Xingyao Kiln Site ) has been on the monuments of the People's Republic of China (4-46) since 1996 .
