The Autonomous District Xinhuang Dong ( 新晃侗族自治县 , Xīnhuǎng Dòngzú Zizhixian ) is a Chinese autonomous county of Dong in the prefecture-level city Huaihua Province Hunan . It has an area of 1,511 km² and has a population of 250,000. Its main town is Xinhuang (新晃 镇).
