Mayang

The Mayang Autonomous County of the Miao ( Chinese  麻阳 苗族 自治县 , Pinyin Máyáng Miáozú zìzhìxiàn ) is an autonomous county of the Miao in the Chinese province of Hunan . It belongs to the administrative area of ​​the prefecture-level city of Huaihua . The district has an area of ​​1,561 and 1,568 km² and has a population of 360,000 (2003). The main town is the large community of Gaocun (高 村镇).
