Xu Rong
Xu Rong ( Chinese 徐 蓉 , * 1958 ) is a former badminton player from the People's Republic of China who later started for Australia.
Career
Xu Rong won the All England 1983 in women's doubles with Wu Jianqiu . The Swedish Open had both won the year before. At the Badminton World Championship in 1983, however, they had to be content with bronze. A year later, Xu Rong became world champion with the Chinese women's team by winning the Uber Cup in 1984 . In 1985 she won again in doubles at the Hong Kong Open with Han Aiping .
