Xue Fucheng

Xue Fucheng (* 1838 in Wuxi , Jiangsu , † 1894 in Shanghai ) was a qingzeitlicher -Gesandter in Europe (England, France, Italy, Belgium) of the 1890s. He wrote a diary of his last four years in the imperial service, in which he described his diplomatic activities and his impressions from the western countries.

The site of his former residence in Wuxi (Jiangsu Province) has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (5-484) since 2001 .
