Yū Hasegawa ( Japanese 長谷川 悠 Hasegawa Yū ; born July 5, 1987 in Yamanashi Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Hasegawa learned to play soccer on the school team at Ryutsu Keizai University Kashiwa High School . He signed his first contract with Kashiwa Reysol in 2006 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . In 2006 he was loaned to FC Gifu . In 2007 he returned to the first division club Kashiwa Reysol. In August 2007 he moved to the second division Avispa Fukuoka . In 2008 he moved to league competitor Montedio Yamagata . In 2008 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League . For the club, he completed 118 league games. In 2012 he moved to league competitor Omiya Ardija . For the club, he completed 74 first division games. In 2015 he moved to the second division side Tokushima Vortis . For the club he completed 45 league games.
