Yūji Hironaga ( Japanese 廣 長 優 志 , Hironaga Yūji ; born July 25, 1975 in Osaka Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
career
Hironaga played in the soccer team of the Toin Gakuen High School and was signed by the then title holder Verdy Kawasaki after graduating from high school . In 1998 he played for Gamba Osaka , but returned after a year to his former club now called Tokyo Verdy. In 2002 he joined the second division club Yokohama FC and ended his career in 2004 with Cerezo Osaka .
With the Japanese national team , he qualified for the 1996 Summer Olympics .
