Yūka Kobayashi ( Japanese 小林 優香 'Kobayashi Yūka' ; born January 18, 1994 in Tosu , Saga Prefecture ) is a Japanese track cyclist who specializes in short-term disciplines.
Athletic career
Yūka Kobayashi began cycling as a rider in the Keirin series in Japan. In 2014 she won the Japanese team sprint with Takako Ishii . In 2015 she won 24 times in 25 races in the Keirin and earned a total (converted) of around 138,000 euros . In 2017 she became the Japanese master in Keirin (outside of the Keirin series).
At the 2018 Track Cycling World Cup in Berlin , Kobayashi took third place in the Keirin. The following year she was Asian champion in the keirin and national champion in sprint and keirin.
