Yūki Kamatani

Yūki Kamatani ( Japanese 鎌 谷 悠 希 Kamatani Yūki ; born June 22, 1983 ) is a mangaka of Japanese nationality and has achieved international fame, primarily through the manga series Nabari no Ō .

Kamatani identifies as " X-gender ", a non-binary gender identity widespread in Japan .

In the manga series Who are you at the blue hour? , set in Onomichi , Kamatani portrays queer characters who grapple with their identity . The series has been published in German as Kamatani's first work since 2019.

Works

With the exception of the Riberamente manga short story collection , Kamatani's works are all manga series:

  • Nabari no Ō (隠 の 王, 2004–2010)
  • Riberamente (リ ベ ラ メ ン テ, 2005)
  • Shōnen nōto (少年 ノ ー ト, 2011-2014)
  • Busshi no Busshin: Kamakura Hanbun Busshiroku (ぶ っ し の ぶ っ し ん 鎌倉 鎌倉 半 分 仏 師 録, since 2014)
