Yūki Mutō ( Japanese 武 藤 雄 樹 , Mūto Yūki ; born November 7, 1988 in Zama , Kanagawa Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

career

Mutō began playing football during elementary school, where he played for FC Sirius, then during middle school for FC Shōnan Junior Youth, and later for the football team at Busō High School in Yokohama , which produced a large number of professional athletes. He then began studying at the Ryūtsū Keizai University and played for their soccer team , which was then based in the Japan Football League . On September 17, 2011 he had his first game in the J. League for the first division club Vegalta Sendai .

In 2015 he was signed by the Urawa Red Diamonds and made his debut for the Japanese national soccer team . With the Japanese national team, he qualified for the 2015 East Asian Cup .
