The Ryūtsū Keizai University ( Japanese 流通 経 済 大学 , Ryūtsū Keizai Daigaku , German "Sales and Economics University") is a Japanese private university . Its main campus is located in Ryūgasaki in Ibaraki Prefecture , with an additional location in Matsudo in Chiba Prefecture .

history

The university was founded in 1965 with the aim of " promoting research and teaching in economics in general so as to contribute to the development of the Japanese economy". Within the business faculty, in addition to the institute for economics that had existed since the university was founded, an institute for management was added in 1970; In 1979, graduate programs were offered in both institutes for the first time . The focus of research and teaching at the faculty has been in the areas of logistics and goods distribution ( ryūtsū ) from the very beginning .

Even if the university's branch of industry is still one of its most important, the range of courses has expanded to include other areas over time. In 1988, opened sociology -Fakultät its doors in 1996, the Faculty of came Economics computer science and in 2001 the Faculty of Law added. The Faculty of Health and Sports Sciences was last opened in 2006, exclusively on the Ryūgasaki campus .

Sports

In addition to the excellent training opportunities, the university in Japan is also known for its sports teams.
