Yūsaku Ueno ( Japanese 上 野 優 作 , Ueno Yūsaku ; born November 1, 1973 in Tochigi Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Ueno learned to play soccer on the school team at Mooka High School and the university team at Tsukuba University . He signed his first contract with Avispa Fukuoka in 1996 . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . For the club he completed 110 first division games. In 2000 he moved to league rivals Sanfrecce Hiroshima . In 2001 he moved to the second division club Kyoto Purple Sanga . In 2001 he was with the club master of the J2 League and rose to the J1 League. In 2002 he won the Kaiser Cup with the club . For the club he completed 65 games. In 2003 he moved to the second division Albirex Niigata . In 2003 he was with the club master of the J2 League and rose to the J1 League. For the club he completed 105 games. In 2006 he moved to league rivals Sanfrecce Hiroshima. For the club he completed 21 first division games. In June 2007 he moved to third division club Tochigi SC . For the club he completed 47 games. At the end of 2008 he ended his career as a football player.
