Yūzō Takada

Yūzō Takada ( Japanese 高田 裕 三 , Takada Yūzō , actually Yūji Takada ( 高田 裕 次 ); * March 21, 1963 in Tokyo ) is a Japanese manga artist .

Life

After studying at Meiji University , Yūzō Takada worked as an assistant for other draftsmen before he published his own works. His first short work Shūshoku Beginner was published in November 1983 in the manga magazine Young Magazine by Kodansha , the first series Tokonatsu Bank was published there from January 1984 to February 1985. Takada became known internationally through the series 3 × 3 eyes and Blue Seed .

In 1993 he received the Kodansha Manga Prize for the best shōnen manga for 3x3 eyes .
