Yakup Alkan (born March 3, 1992 in Istanbul ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

Alkan was born in Istanbul's Eminönü district and started his club football career in 2008 at Bağcılar Gençlergücü SK .

From here he moved to İstanbul Kartal Belediyespor for the 2010/11 season and played for this club in the Boelgesel Amatoer Lig , the fifth highest Turkish division. After a season he moved to Çekmeköyspor.

After he had only played one season here, he returned to the Boelgesel Amatoer Lig and played for Tuzlaspor from then on . At this club, he immediately established himself as a regular player and top performer. So he finished the fifth division season 2012/13 with his club as champion of the Boelgesel Amatoer Lig and rose to the TFF 3rd Lig , fourth highest Turkish league and lowest Turkish professional league. Also in this division Alkan kept his regular place. He finished the fourth division season 2014/15 with his team as a champion and rose to the TFF 2. Lig for the first time in the club's history .

In the summer transfer period of 2015, the second division newcomer Yeni Malatyaspor signed him . Half a season later he moved on to Menemen Belediyespor .
