Yana Alekseevna (born October 30, 1987 ) is an Azerbaijani boxer of Ukrainian origin.

Career

Alekseevna took part in an international tournament for the first time in 2013, the renowned Feliks Stamm Memorial Tournament in Warsaw . In the end, she took second place in the lightweight category (up to 60 kg). This was followed by several participations in international tournaments in Poland and Germany in 2013 and 2014 - u. a. she was defeated by the Finn Mira Potkonen with 3-0 judges votes - before she started at the World Championships for the first time in 2014 and after victories a. a. about the winner of the Commonwealth Games 2014 Shelley Watts, Australia (3: 0), and Estelle Mossely , France (2: 1), surprisingly reached the final. In 2015 Alekseevna started at the European Games in Baku , but after victories over Potkonen (3: 0) and the reigning featherweight champion (up to 57 kg) Sinaida Dobrynina , Russia (3: 0), failed again in the semifinals at Taylor.
