Yanggu'ao

Yanggu'ao ( Chinese  羊古坳乡 , Pinyin Yánggǔ'ào Xiang ) is a municipality in the county Longhui the prefecture-level city Shaoyang in the Chinese province of Hunan . Yanggu'ao has an area of ​​61.28 km² and in 2010 (census) 29,951 inhabitants (population density 488.76 inh / km²). The village of Yanggu'ao is the seat of the municipal government.

Yanggu'ao lives mainly from agriculture. The main crops are rice , wheat , sweet potatoes , soy and rapeseed .

Personalities

Early CCP leader and later Trotskyist revolutionary Peng Shuzhi was a native of Zhuanjiaoqiu Village.
