Peng Shuzhi

Peng shuzhi (also: Peng Shu-tse ; Chinese: peng shuzhi彭述之; born on 26. November 1895 in Tongluo ( Chinese  铜锣村 ), now part of the village in the municipality Zhuanjiaoqiu Yanggu'ao in China , died on November 28 1983 in the United States ) was a leading member of the Communist party and became a Trotskyist .

Life

Peng studied in Moscow . After returning to China , he became a member of the CCP's Central Committee, directed the party's propaganda work, and published its magazine during the 1925–1927 revolution. In November 1929 he was expelled from the party with Chen Duxiu for supporting Trotskyism . He later lived in exile in Los Angeles ( California ).
