Yangiqoʻrgʻon is an urban-type settlement in the Uzbek province of Namangan in the Ferghana Valley and the capital of the district of the same name .

The place is about 20 km north of the provincial capital Namangan . The Eskiyerskoye reservoir lies south of the city .

In 1976 Yangiqoʻrgʻon received urban-type settlement status. According to the population census in 1989, the place had 11,561 inhabitants, according to a calculation for 2005, the population was 16,100.
