Hermann Bergmeister
Hermann Bergmeister (born July 7, 1869 in Bregenz , † October 20, 1938 in Graz ) was an Austrian painter and etcher.
Bergmeister studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna with Julius Schmid , Julius Victor Berger and August Eisenmenger .
After completing his studies, he mainly worked as a teacher. In addition to the oil paintings of landscapes and figural compositions, he created etchings and book illustrations.
Hermann Bergmeister was a. a. awarded the Füger Prize and the State Prize in 1913.
