Yangluo Bridge

The Yangluo Bridge or Wuhan Yangluo Yangtze Bridge ( Chinese  武汉 阳逻 长江 大桥 ) is a suspension bridge near Wuhan in Hubei Province, China . With a span of 1280 meters and a total length of 2725 meters, the motorway bridge is one of the longest suspension bridges in the world. The bridge connects Hongshan District with Xinzhou District.

The bridge is part of the Wuhan ring road and spans the Yangtze . Construction began in 2003 and the bridge was opened to traffic on December 26, 2007. Construction was carried out in a joint venture with the China Harbor Engineering Company Group and Major Bridge Engineering Bureau . The formwork and scaffolding was carried out by the Doka Group .
