Yann Schneider (born January 19, 1986 in Phalsbourg ) is a French football player .
Career
society
Beginnings and beginning of the career
At the beginning of his career, Yann Schneider initially played in his home country for the then first division club Racing Strasbourg . There he was mainly active in the reserve team (83 appearances / 2 goals), but also made four appearances in Ligue 1 in the 2005/06 season . He was also able to book two appearances in the UEFA Cup this season.
On loan in Germany
After the relegation of his team at the end of the season, he moved at the beginning of the following season together with his teammate Gaëtan Krebs to the German regional league team Sportfreunde Siegen . There he could not assert himself in contrast to Krebs and played mostly in the 2nd team. He was only able to add three missions in the 2006/07 season to his statistics.
Return to the Homeland
For the 2007/08 season he returned to Racing Strasbourg. Until the end of his contract, Schneider only played in the reserve eleven.
Clublessness and change to the amateur field
After the end of his contract, Schneider was without a club for six months. He has been in the squad of the then French fifth division team US Sarre-Union since January 2010 , who played in CFA 2 at the time and has been a member of CFA B since the 2011/12 season. In the first two seasons in CFA 2 he came to 40 league appearances. Until his departure, he completed 183 league games for the club. He did not score a hit.
In the winter break of 2017/18, the striker switched to Stade Maillanais in the lower class " Regional 2 ".
National team
Yann Schneider was also a member of various French national youth teams (U-18, U-19, U-20 ).
