Bayerisches Automobilwerk AG was a German automobile manufacturer . In the literature, the company is also referred to as Bayrisches Automobilwerk AG .
Company history
The company was founded in 1923 to produce automobiles. The Walter Schuricht automobile plant was taken over for this purpose. The brand name was BAW. The company headquarters was at Landsberger Strasse 70 in Pasing near Munich. Production ended in 1924.
vehicles
The company manufactured small cars. Initially, there was a choice of the 4/12 PS and the 5/15 PS , which was later further developed into the 5/18 PS . The engines were water-cooled four - cylinder engines . The cars were equipped with an automatic four-speed gearbox. Open three and four-seaters and delivery vans were on offer .
