The Bob Automobil-Gesellschaft was a German manufacturer of automobiles .

Company history

The company Bob Automobil-Gesellschaft Carpzow & Wachsmann OHG was founded on January 15, 1919 in Berlin-Charlottenburg . Shareholders were Karl Carpzow, Fritz Polensky and Egon E. Wachsmann, who left the company at the end of 1919. Automobile production began in 1919. In 1920 the name was changed to Bob Automobil-GmbH . Willy Schüler was now the managing director. In 1922 the company was renamed Bob Automobil AG . In 1923 the capital was increased from 15 to 20 million Reichsmarks. Production was stopped in 1925.

vehicles

Sporty small cars were made, often open two-seaters. The motors came from Siemens & Halske and had a displacement of 800 cm³ to 1300 cm³.

At least one vehicle took part in the small car race at the Berlin AVUS in 1923.

One vehicle has been preserved. It was offered in a classic car magazine in 1993 for DM 40,000 .
