DEW was a car brand that was only built in 1927 by the Zschopauer Motorenwerke in their Berlin branch. Rasmussen had taken over the production of Slaby-Beringer and Rudolf Slaby was also responsible for the construction of the vehicles.

Electric cabs and delivery vans with electric motors were created in small numbers. All vehicles were equipped with a wooden body and had no frame.
