The Kraftwagenfabrik Solomobil GmbH , previously E. Moll , was a German automobile manufacturer.
Company history
Initially, the company traded as E. Moll with its headquarters at Bamberger Strasse 14 in Berlin . In 1919 two automobiles were presented at the Leipzig autumn fair . The Solomobil-Ges. mbH and Blankenfelde Straße 9 can be recognized. Contrary to this, 1920 and 1921 are also mentioned as the start of production. The company name Kraftwagenfabrik Solomobil GmbH was handed down later . The brand name of the vehicles was Solomobil . The vehicles were offered until 1922. Then the track of the company is lost.

Small cars were on offer . They had air-cooled gasoline engines . Hugo Mitzenheim is named as the designer.
One model was a tricycle with a single front wheel. The V2 - four-stroke engine had 498 cc engine capacity and made 10 hp . The engine power was transferred to the rear wheels via a three-speed gearbox. There is no differential . The track width was 120 cm and the vehicle length 210 cm. The maximum speed was given as 40 km / h. There was a choice of open single-seaters and tandem two-seaters with a hood. Other sources cite a 4/10 hp model. The specification stood for 4 tax horsepower and 10 HP engine power, which corresponds to about 1000 cm³ displacement. According to another source, the engine came from NSU Motorenwerke and was mounted behind the front wheel.
There was also the 6/12 PS . This car had four wheels.
