The Deutsche License Tatra Automobile Betriebsgesellschaft mbH , Delta for short , Detra from 1928 , was a German manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Tatra founded the company in 1925 as an assembly company. The location was Frankenallee 98-102 in Frankfurt am Main . Arthur von Mumm was in charge of management . The brand name was Tatra . Production ended in 1933. In 1938 the company was dissolved.
vehicles
The only model from Delta was the 11 . This was the license production of the Tatra 11 and 12 models . Two-cylinder engines with a displacement of 1056 cc and initially 12 hp , later increased to 14 hp , provided the drive .
In 1928, when Delta became Detra, the name was changed to 4/14 hp . In 1928 the larger 8/40 hp supplemented the range. This model under license Tatra 52 was equipped with a four-cylinder engine with 1896 cm³ displacement and 40 hp.
