The Otto Trinks Maschinenfabrik was a German manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
The company from Berlin-Marienfelde started producing automobiles in 1924. The brand name was Trinks . Production ended in 1925.
It is uncertain whether the owner of the company is identical to Otto Trinks, who was mentioned as an aircraft designer around 1910 . However, various other companies are known that were active in vehicle construction for a shorter or longer period of time after the end of the First World War because of the Allied ban on aircraft production.

The only model was a tricycle with the single wheel in the back. A water-cooled four - cylinder four - stroke engine with 612 cm³ displacement and around 7 hp provided the drive . The motor was mounted between the front wheels and drove the individual rear wheel via a chain. With a wheelbase of 175 cm and a front track width of 115 cm, the vehicle length was 280 cm, the vehicle width 130 cm and the vehicle height 115 cm. The curb weight was given as 275 kg. The open body offered space for two people next to each other.
