The Otto-Werke GmbH was a German motorcycle - and car manufacturers , who from 1918 to 1932 in Munich was established.
history
Gustav Otto , a German aircraft manufacturer and son of Nicolaus August Otto , founded the company.
Motorcycle construction
From 1921 a bicycle auxiliary engine, a four-stroke engine with 1 HP (0.74 kW) power, was built. In 1924, motorcycles were added under the name Flottweg . From 1928 to 1930 these motorcycles were also offered under the name Otto .
Automobile manufacturing
The 27/85 hp model was built there from 1923 to 1924 . The engine had a displacement of 6.75 l and developed 85 hp (62.5 kW). One source calls a four-cylinder engine , others a six-cylinder engine .
Only a few copies of Otto were made.
