The Rivo Gesellschaft für Verkehr mbH was a German manufacturer of automobiles .

history

The company from Schwäbisch Gmünd started producing automobiles in 1921. The brand name was Rivo , derived from the name of the builder Richard Vogt . One vehicle was presented at the Berlin Motor Show in 1921 . Production ended in the same year. The vehicles caused a sensation due to their design, but could only be sold in small numbers.

The only model was a four-wheeled small car . The specialty was the drive. In the rear of the vehicles there was an upwardly sloping screw axis, i.e. a propeller drive. So there was no drive on one axis.
