Davidl was a German car brand from Paul Lesch, Leipzig .

Company history

The engineer Paul Lesch from Leipzig developed an automobile in 1920, for which he received a utility model . Production then began at Scheffelstrasse 26 in Leipzig. Production ended in 1920 or 1921. Another source gives 1922 as the only year. The numbers remained low.

vehicles

The vehicles were three-wheelers with the single wheel at the rear. There was a choice of single-seater and two-seater in tandem seating. The wheelbase of the single-seater was 225 cm and the vehicle length was 300 cm; the two-seater had both dimensions 50 cm larger. The vehicle width was uniformly 100 cm. For the drive ensured air-cooled V2 - four-stroke engines that were mounted in the vehicle front. The engine output was either 4 or 7.5 hp . The transmission had three gears. The engine power was transferred to the rear axle.
