The Miners Metallurgique mbH was a German car and commercial vehicle manufacturers, who from 1909 to 1922 in Berlin was established.

history

The company was founded as a subsidiary of Bergmann Elektrizitätswerke . She owned the license to build the Belgian Métallurgique car in Germany. The business connection was arranged by Duke Ludwig von Bayern , whose sister was married to the Belgian king. The Duke was also a member of the company's board of directors.

The models of the Belgian licensor were adopted unchanged and built until the beginning of the First World War . Then the car production was given up and trucks were built. After the war, car production started up again; the license had been withdrawn by Métallurgique. Only a few specimens were made under the name Bergmann from parts that were still available from the time before the war. Production was stopped in 1922.
