Record was a German car brand.

Company history

The company Internationale Automobil-Centrale Dr. In 1904 Mengers & Bellmann from Berlin took over the international automobile center Jeannin & Co. In spring 1905 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Record . One source incorrectly mentions the brand name Record . The company took part in the Herkomer competitions in 1905 and 1906, and in the Berlin Motor Show in 1906 . Production ended in 1907 or 1908.

The company obtained chassis from Société Gladiator . The built-in engines came from Argus and Aster . There was a choice of one , two , four and six-cylinder engines . The engine output was between 8 and 80 hp .
