Hartmann (car brand)

The Hartmann was a small car that was built by the Hartmann company in Eisenach from 1905 . Hartmann was founded as a repair shop at the end of the 19th century.

At the beginning of the 20th century, the company began manufacturing bicycles and motorcycles .

In 1905 they also had their own two-seater automobile , which had a tubular steel frame made in-house and was powered by a Fafnir engine with 4.5 HP (3.3 kW). The little car reached a top speed of 40 km / h. Hartmann also made the omnimobile .

Production ended in 1906.
