Company history
The company was founded in 1900 to manufacture carriages and car bodies. The company headquarters was on Heliosstrasse in Cologne . In 1903 the production of automobiles began. The brand name was Utermöhle . In 1905 the company's own automobile production ended. In 1908 there was also a branch at Große Frankfurter Straße 137 in Berlin . The company was taken over by Karl Deutsch in 1913 and renamed Westdeutsches Karosseriewerk . In 1916 Karl Deutsch changed the name to Karl Deutsch GmbH .

The company only made one model. A four-cylinder engine with 16 hp provided the drive . The engine came from Peugeot .

Car bodies were made for Horch and Deutz , among others .
