Triomobil

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Triomobil was a German car brand.

description

The manufacturer was the Otto Spieß mechanical workshop in Berlin-Spandau . The workshop had existed since 1894. According to a source, the vehicles were built from 1903 to 1909. Other sources are limited to 1907. In 1909, the Spieß company had to give up.

The Triomobil was a three-wheeled vehicle with two seats. An air-cooled motor with an open flywheel, which developed 4.5 HP (3.3 kW) of power and drove the front wheel via a chain, sat above each front wheel. This "subframe" was steered with a long rod.
