Léon Ducommun & Cie., Werkstätte für Maschinenbau was a German manufacturer of automobiles and commercial vehicles .

Company history

The company was based in Mulhouse ( French: Mulhouse ) in Upper Alsace . The Alsace belonged to the German Reich began when in 1903 the production of automobiles. The brand name was Ducommun . Production ended in 1905.

Passenger cars were built until 1904. The smaller model had a two-cylinder engine with 12 hp . In the larger model, a four-cylinder engine with 24 hp provided the drive. The trucks were designed for a payload of 2.5 to 6 tons . There were also omnibuses that were used in London , among others .
