The Berliner Elektromobilfabrik G. m. b. H. was an automobile manufacturer based in Berlin-Charlottenburg at Windscheidstrasse 23. From 1907 to 1913 three-wheeled electric vehicles were built there under the name B. E. F.

description

Victor Harborn developed a vehicle in 1906 and presented it at an automobile exhibition in Berlin in 1907. Shortly afterwards he switched to BEF.P Harborn, left the company in 1910 and went to Gebhardt & Harhorn . BEF was only allowed to manufacture and sell the introduced model until 1913.

The cars had a sturdy chassis made of steel profiles and two or four seats. The front single wheel was driven by an electric motor with a power of 2.5 kilowatts , which was installed with a vertical shaft. The driver directed it with a steering column. The rear wheels were fitted with semi-elliptical leaf springs. There were open and closed bodies, including landaulets and box vans

Another source names engines with different engines. The weakest developed 1.5 hp and the more powerful 2, 4 and 5 hp.
