The Anhaltische Fahrzeugwerke AG Robert Krause , previously Anhaltische Fahrzeugwerke Krause & Günther and Anhaltische Fahrzeugwerke Robert Krause , was a German company. Occasionally the company name Anhaltische Fahrzeugfabrik Robert Krause or Anhaltische Fahrzeugwerkstätte Dessau is also found . The location was at Wasserstadt 11 in Jonitz near Dessau . The company must not be confused with the Dessau engine works , which were based in the same place in the 1910s and offered automobiles under the brand name Der Dessauer .

Company history

Robert Krause founded the Anhaltische Fahrzeugwerke Robert Krause company in 1901 . Initially, bicycles , jacks , winches , push-on cars , motorcycle engines and couplings were created . Between 1906 and 1910 the company manufactured automobiles that were marketed under the Dessavia brand name . In 1911 the name was changed to Anhaltische Fahrzeugwerke Krause & Günther , and in 1920 to Anhaltische Fahrzeugwerke Robert Krause AG . On August 21, 1922, a fire destroyed a factory hall. After the First World War, the company hired motorbike - sidecar , spare parts and bodies ago. From 1930, parts were supplied to Junkers for their aircraft construction. After the Second World War , the company manufactured hose valves . It is not known when the company was dissolved.

Automobiles

Production began in either 1906 or 1907 and ended in either 1907 or 1910. Production was limited in number.

The only model was a small car . A two-cylinder engine with 870 cm³ displacement and 6 HP power provided the drive . The engine power was transmitted to the drive axle via a friction gear. The open body offered space for two people.
