The Falcon Automotive GmbH was a German automobile manufacturer.

Company history

The company was initially based in Sontheim (Heilbronn) . In 1921 the company was expanded and relocated to Ober-Ramstadt . Between 1921 and 1926 were cars of the middle class made. In 1924 there was a change in the supervisory board, which now included the following people: August W. Riebe, Heinz Tannen, Oscar Schwarz, Hans Wichert, Max Kronheimer, Martin Streffer, Dr. Nolden, Julius Levi and Richard Seligmann. In 1925, Riebe and Tannen were eliminated again.

At the beginning of 1926 the plant had to be sold to Röhr Auto AG for economic reasons .

In the summer of 1921, the 6/20 PS model with a four-cylinder in - line engine appeared , which was considered to be very solid, but also somewhat sluggish. The engine had a displacement of 1520 cc and made 23 hp . The open touring car had a stylish pointed radiator. The wheelbase was 280 cm and the curb weight was 700 kg.

At the end of 1924 this car was replaced by the 6/30 hp model. The four-cylinder engine with a displacement of 1496 cm³ developed between 30 and 35 hp, in the sports version 40 to 45 hp. The wheelbase measured either 280 cm or 320 cm. The cars weighed about 1000 kg. A mechanical four-wheel brake from Perrot is mentioned.
