description
Erwin Wesnigk was a graduate engineer . He manufactured motor vehicles in Berlin between 1922 and 1926 .
Wesnigk had applied for a rear-wheel steering patent in 1920 , which was granted to him in 1924. From 1922 he manufactured three-wheeled automobiles . They were small cars with a rear single wheel. Contrary to his patent, the front wheels were steered, which provided more stability. Initially, a BMW engine with 6 hp was used. Later it was a Kühne engine with 10 hp. Both were single-cylinder , four-stroke , air-cooled engines . The engine power was transmitted to the rear wheel via a three-speed gearbox. The wheelbase was 130 cm and the curb weight was 195 kg. The structure was an open two to three-seater with a hood.
There are also drawings for a convertible . The driver sits in the middle. Behind it is a bench for two people. The engine is mounted in front of the rear wheel. Specified are 215 cm wheelbase, 120 cm track width and an engine with 200 cm³ displacement .
In addition, a drawing for one exists pattern G -called luggage tricycle. The driver sits on the back of a motorcycle saddle. In front of him a steering wheel and in front of it a box for luggage.
