Karl Mayr Motorenbau was a German manufacturer of automobiles .
Company history
Karl Mayr founded the company in 1921 and began producing automobiles. The brand name was Mayrette . Production ended in 1923 or 1924. In total, a few dozen vehicles were built.
Mayr was also involved in the Maja factory from 1923 to 1924 and manufactured three-wheeled commercial vehicles in his company Mayr-Dreiräder - Kleinfahrzeugbau Mayr between 1925 and 1934 .

The company manufactured small cars. The cars offered one or two seats. The first model was developed by a two-cylinder engine of BMW with 500 cc displacement driven. The second model was a tricycle. A built-in engine from JAP with a displacement of 200 cm³ was used to drive the individual rear wheel.
On September 19, 1932, Mayr drove one of his three-wheelers up the Katschberg . The JAP engine with a displacement of 200 cm³ is referred to here as a four-stroke engine .
