Maja-Werk AG or Maja-Werk für Motor-Vierrad-Bau AG was a German automobile manufacturer.
Company history
On June 16, 1923, Karl Mayr, who had been running Karl Mayr motor vehicle manufacturing since 1921 , Walter Raben, the limited partnership Friedrich Raben Erben, the oHG Georg Kleinwort and Otto Windstosser founded the company. The location was Schönfeldstrasse 28 in Munich . The company's automobile production ended in 1924 after just one year.

The only Motorbiene model was a cycle car . It was powered by a two - cylinder boxer engine from BMW . A 68 mm bore and 68 mm stroke resulted in a displacement of 494 cc . The transmission had three gears. In view of the track width of 105 cm, there was no differential on the rear axle. With a wheelbase of 250 cm, the vehicle length was 310 cm.
