Yassine Fahas (born April 19, 1987 in Chenôve ) is a French - Algerian ice hockey player .

Career

Yassine Fahas began his career as a hockey player with the Ducs de Dijon , for whom he played in the Ligue Magnus , the top French division, from 2005 to 2011 . In his first season in professional ice hockey, the attacker scored an assist in twelve main round games in the 2005/06 season. He was also used in four playoff games. Parallel to the game in the Ligue Magnus, he and his team won the Coupe de France , the French cup competition. In the 2006/07 season he was twice as often on the ice and played 24 games, in which he remained without a scorer point. In the following six playoff games, he remained pointless and punished. In the 2007/08 season, Fahas was in the regular season and the playoffs together in 21 games on the ice. In the following years, however, the Algerian national player lost his regular place with the Ducs and played in the 2010/11 season for their second team in the fourth division 3. In the summer of 2011, he left Dijon and joined the Hockey Club Blida from Algeria.

International

Yassine Fahas is one of the founding members of the Algerian national ice hockey team . He represented them at the 2008 Arab Cup of Ice Hockey .
